Getting started

What Kiln is, in the fewest words that are still true.

Kiln is a launchpad for coins on pons v2, which runs on Robinhood Chain. You launch a coin here the same way you would launch it on pons directly. The difference is what happens to the trading fees afterwards.

On a normal launch the creator collects the fees. On Kiln there is no creator to collect them. Every coin gets its own vault — a contract with no owner — and pons is told to send that coin's fees there. The vault can only do one thing with them, and anybody is allowed to make it happen.

What the vault does

50%
Locked liquidity
Never withdrawable
40%
Burns the coin
Supply drops
10%
Burns KILN
Shared by every coin

Of what is left after the roller's 0.5%.

Half becomes liquidity that is locked forever. Forty percent buys the coin itself and destroys it. Ten percent buys KILN, the site's own coin, and destroys that. The person who presses the button is owed 0.5% of what was spent, to cover their gas.
