Launching a coin
What the form asks for, what it costs, and what is fixed forever.
- 1Connect a wallet on Robinhood Chain
Chain id 4663. The site will offer to add it if your wallet does not have it.
- 2Name it
Name, ticker and image. The image is metadata on pons; the name and ticker are on the token and cannot be changed later.
- 3Pick what it trades against
ETH is the default. Whatever you pick is what fees arrive in, and what the vault spends when it rolls.
- 4Optionally buy first
An opening buy in the same transaction, before anyone else can trade. Nothing forces you to; zero is a normal answer.
- 5Launch
One transaction creates the token, the bonding curve and the vault, and points the coin's fees at that vault.
What it costs
pons charges a launch fee of 0.0005 ETH, plus gas. That money goes to pons, not to Kiln. Kiln charges nothing to launch and takes no share of any trade.
What you are giving up
The creator fee stream. On a plain pons launch that would be yours. Here it is the vault's, permanently, and there is no function anywhere that could redirect it back to you.
Team wallets
You may list up to 29 addresses that are exempt from the anti-sniping rules pons applies at launch. pons allows 30 exemptions and the creator takes one of them.
